Walkers Baked Naked

Walkers Crisps recently ran “Baked Naked”, a black and white television commercial in which football star Gary Lineker appears in the buff. Filmed in South Africa, the advert shows men and women going about their everyday business in the nude. Lineker boards a bus keen to make an impression on the naked driver and passengers. As the advert ends, the line between fantasy and reality is established with the closing caption, “We can’t promise you’ll look good naked, but we can promise you 70% less fat.”

The Baked Naked campaign was developed at AMV BBDO by copywriter Andy Amadeo, art director Colin Jones, planners Tom White and Adam Glasner, agency producers Yvonne Clayton and Zoe Cunningham, account managers Adam Tucker, Gary Grant, Rachel Livesey and Topher Jones.

Filming was shot by director Paul Weiland via Weilands with producer Ivana Bohuslavova.

Post production was done at The Mill and Whitehouse Post. Audio post production was done at Wave Studios.
