The Picture Wanktasia
Australian Mens Interest magazine The Picture has launched an innuendo-filled TV ad titled Wanktasia (play on the musical term fantasia). Men polish, play and spank artifacts with obvious anticipation and bliss, emotions associated with the sexual objectification of women’s bodies.
The Wanktasia campaign was pulled together at advertising agency Smart, Melbourne, by executive creative director John Mescall, art director Mal Chambers and copywriter Scot van den Driesen.
Filming was shot by director Micca Delaney via Exit Films, Melbourne, with producer Allison Lockwood and director of photography Adam Arkapaw.
Editor was Rohan Zerna. Post production was done at Complete Post.
Music was composed by Hylton Mowday.
THE PICTURE is Australia’s biggest-selling men’s magazine, combining glamour, humour and a heavy bias toward Australian content.
